Quran Kariim ("the App") is a free Islamic application developed by Ismaail Aweis Mohamed. We are committed to protecting the privacy of every user who uses this application.

Data Storage & Security

All personal preferences (bookmarks, font size, theme, last read position) are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly sign in with Google.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Quran Kariim is a family-friendly Islamic application suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

App Permissions

• INTERNET — To load Quran audio and prayer times
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / COARSE_LOCATION — For prayer times and Qiblah only

• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — For accurate prayer time notifications
• VIBRATE — For notification alerts
